Nenad Malešević (Sarajevo, 1981) graduated from the Graphics department of the Academy of Arts at the University of Banja Luka in 2004, and completed the Interdisciplinary Studies Master’s program in Theory of Arts and Media at the University of Arts in Belgrade in 2008. He received a Doctor of Arts Degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2019. He is a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship holder in 2006. He has had the following solo exhibitions: Donau – Gradac Gallery, Raška (2021); Flussabwärts – Goethe-Institut, Belgrade (2019); The Penultimate Exhibition – Reflektor Gallery, Užice (2019); Unexpectedly – Art Gallery, Požega (2017); Documents: An Introduction to the Study of Discontinuance – Savremena galerija, Subotica (2016), Photon Gallery, Ljubljana and Cultural Center of Belgrade (Artget Gallery), Belgrade (2015) and Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka (2014); Storyboard – Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka and Duplex Gallery, Sarajevo (with Miodrag Manojlović, 2010); The Age of Renewal – Gallery of the Studentski grad Cultural Centre, Belgrade and Banski dvor Cultural Centre, Banja Luka (2007). He has participated in group exhibitions or festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, France, Italy, Georgia, Great Britain and the Netherlands.
